Celebrate Independence Day and the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution in Downtown Peekskill!

Peekskill’s Annual Independence Day Parade will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2026 and steps off at 10:30AM. Hosted by the Peekskill Volunteer Firefighters’ Association, the procession kicks off at 1850 Crompond Road and proceeds to South Division St., to First Street, then Union Ave., then South St., onto North Division St., and then onto Main St., ending on North Broad Street at the Central Fire House. The reviewing stand will be on Main Street near the fire house. 

Bring your family to Downtown Peekskill, find a spot along the route, and enjoy this longstanding community tradition as we commemorate America’s independence and the birth of our nation. Free parking at metered spaces in the Nelson Avenue and James Street parking garages. Do not park in private lots, you may be towed or booted. Please arrive early as multiple streets will be closed for the parade.
