By Train: Peekskill is an hour by train from New York City and 45 minutes by train from Poughkeepsie. Metro-North trains running on the Hudson Line stop hourly at Peekskill station.

By Car: If coming from the east, take the Main Street exit from Rt. 9 which will bring you directly into downtown Peekskill. If coming from the west, take the exit for US-202/NY-35 towards Peekskill from the Taconic Parkway.

GPS Destination to the heart of downtown: One South Division Street, Peekskill, NY 10566.

Public Parking: All parking in downtown on the streets and public garages is free on the weekends and after 6pm on weekdays (before 6pm all parking is metered or by permit).

By Foot: It’s a 10 minute walk from the Peekskill train station up to the center of town. Follow Water Street north parallel to the train tracks and turn right up the hill on Central Avenue.

There are a number of public parking garages downtown:

• James Street Garage – James St. & Park St.
• Metered Lot to West of James Street Garage – Park St. between Bank St. & James St.
• Bank Street Extension Lot – Bank St between Park St. & Brown St.
• Nelson Avenue Garage – Central Ave between Nelson Ave. & Division St.
